A Millennial Love Odyssey

Chronicles and musings of an Asian American girl's quest for "the one" and beyond

Preface

This blog is a chronicle of my love life and my self development journey, revolving around all of my romantic relationships and the hijinks that ensue.

Everything that I write about is my own personal experience, based on true events, and real people. The setting is southern California, year 2000 and onward. I was born and raised in Garden Grove, California to first generation immigrants; my mom is Vietnamese and my dad is Vietnamese Chinese. I have one older brother, 6 years my elder. My dad’s parent’s lived with us in our household. We were the middlest of middle class families.

The purpose of me writing this is so that I can share my story, my life lessons, my thoughts, feelings, musings, reflections mainly because I think that my life was pretty funny and interesting, but also because I’m using this as a creative outlet.

My soul has been uneasy and restless lately.

I have so much in me that wishes to be seen by the world.

It’s time that I stopped holding back.

About Me

I’m a Vietnamese Chinese American millennial, privileged with secure attachment and the unconditional love of her parents, and the confidence of a girl who’s been told that the whole art department at her university had a crush on her. And then in 2016, the universe put my big headed ass in its place. I’m using this blog to share my silly stories, misadventures, and life lessons in love and dating, as I am now married to my “the one”, but the lessons, challenges, and struggle are on going. I’m a self love, dating, and relationship life coach now residing in Saigon, Vietnam.
